This item is a replica of the hooded tunic found in Skjoldehamn, Norway. Recent discoveries and evidence has led archaeologists to date this find to the late Viking age.  It is a one of a kind item meant to sit lightly worn on the head and shoulders. No other similar clothing items to this from this period have been found. The material is cozy yet tough to keep you dry and also lightweight and comfortable to avoid overheating during physical activity.
